A ResoniteModLoader mod for Resonite that allows global string tags to be edited directly by typing in the field. This implements the feature requested in Yellow-Dog-Man/Resonite-Issues#303, this feature has been implemented as of 2023.11.13.1343 and the mod is no longer needed.

1. Install ResoniteModLoader.
2. Place ResoniteDirectEditGlobal.dll into your rml_mods folder. This folder should be at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resonite\rml_mods for a default install. You can create it if it's missing, or if you launch the game once with ResoniteModLoader installed it will create the folder for you.
3. Start the game. If you want to verify that the mod is working you can check your Resonite logs.

Spawn out or unpack any node that has a Global tag that uses a string. You should then be able to type into it directly.
