This is a mod for The Long Dark by Hinterland Games Studio, Inc.
All types of shoes and boots help prevent sprained ankles from falling and moving on uneven terrain.
The strength of the support is derived from a shoes protection value:
Each point in protection reduces the chance to receive a sprain by two per cent.
Requires the Mod Loader to run.
Can you do something about randomly spaining your wrist while walking?
Needs to be updated to be compatible with the newest update?
(Currently it freezes when you try to start the game before even reaching the main menu)
Hello,
I am a fan of the mod because obviously overall sprains have been reduced. However I got frequent and riduculous amounts of sprains while wearing mukluks, which is odd because they are like some of the best boots in the game. Is this intended, or a bug?
