The InteractionReceiver class loads the notifier library each time the sigusr signal needs to be sent to quirp. This is inefficient. Plsfix.

When using an N1 running Quirp yesterday the phone hung a number of times: once after I changed the time, and twice when attempting to make calls. Reboot seemed to fix the problem but it occured again later.

I also had trouble sending an SMS shortly after rebooting the phone when it hung after changing the time. It appeared to send the message but actually didn't; the message app only showed the message not sent icon (red triangle) after the subsequent issues trying to make calls. I not sure if this related but I thought I should note it here anyway.

The current architecture opens, writes, closes the database.
Persistent connection to the database would make things faster.
At the moment, system is becoming unresponsive with many touches.
Also consider limiting frequency of touch intents?
