hackdelft-website's Issues

Making past editions accessible

Hey -

I'm not sure who's maintaining the site right now, but I think we can look at this issue now that this year's HackDelft has finished.

I think it's important to make old version of the website available so that people can look at previous editions of HackDelft - it's nice for winning teams to link to, for example, and the committee organizing the next edition of HackDelft can look at it for inspiration. The following URL scheme is common for hackathons, and I think it'd work well for us as well (same for .com):

  • hackdelft.nl: Current edition of HackDelft
  • 2017.hackdelft.nl: Website of the first edition of HackDelft
  • 2018.hackdelft.nl: Website of this year's edition of HackDelft
  • ...

I'm not sure who has control over the DNS and host to set this up. Anyone know?

Schedule times incorrect

http://i.imgur.com/4Wj8huo.png

The time of the schedule is shitting the bed somehow. The data-start and data-end attributes are the correct values, but the content in the :before doesn't get updated on change. If you edit the content css attribute to something else and change it back, the correct times are visible.

Possible fix could be to apply the classes to the schedule item after setting the data-* values, but I can't test it myself at the moment

Text-update under FAQ

The question "Can I sleep" does not explicitly tell people to bring their own sleeping gear : mat, sleep bag etc. Not everyone will be able to guess this by themselves.

Location on FAQ page.

At the moment, it is extremely unclear on the website that we will be holding the event at S&C. Needs an update ASAP.
