Will not display fullscreen

When showing the preview in System Preferences, screensaver displays fullscreen and operates without issue. When screensaver mode is actually activated, only a small portion of the screen in the bottom left corner displays.
Running macOS Catalina, 10.15.2. Any ideas?

Fix doc: Issue with OSX Catalina

When installing on OSX Catalina, the system prevents installation by double clicking and the basic right click open doesn't work either.

The correct way to install is to open system preferences > Security & Privacy and click the allow button on the screen.

Rename screensaver

The screensaver appears as "Web" under system preferences.
Please rename it to "Matrix" or something else more descriptive.

Preview Image

It would be awesome if it showed a preview image on the left in System Preferences.

In System Preferences, this screensaver shows up as "Web". It would be awesome if it said the name of the screensaver instead.

Code stopped to be displayed

A couple of days ago the screen saver stopped displaying Github code. It will still show the 'initialisation' animation with the numbers, but after that will turn black and not display anything anymore.

Has something changed on the Github side, so that the screen saver can't pull in data anymore?

Preview Animation

For some reason the preview animation on the right is too big and it's cutting off part of the image/animation.

Any chance of Linux?

Any chance of getting this totally awesome screensaver onto Ubuntu?

Im not the most techiest, I just want a cool screensaver and I cant figure out how to download the .saver file

Slow multimonoitor rendering

Hi @winterbe

when my mac is connected to multiple external monitors the screensaver slows down on a per monitor basis.

It seems that instead of cloning the screensaver for multiple monitors the whole thing is rendering itself again per screen that is connected.

Could this be easily fixed by mirroring the generated content when more than one monitor is used?

Otherwise I might try to fix it myself in my sparetime and propose a fix.

Cannot quit screen saver with mouse cursor moving

Seems like I can only quit screen saver using esc.

I'll be nice if I can also quit with mouse movement.

No longer works

Screensaver worked for some time but as of a couple months ago it stopped working. The initial screen where all the text flashes works, but beyond that there's just a black screen. Maybe an issue w the web API?

Question About Utility

Is there a way to change the source from the github commits to say a local text file? I want to be able to run this without wifi and to be able to change the characters displayed.

Should the wi-fi must be connected when I use this screensaver?

I find it would display only when the wi-fi is connected.
Could anyone tell me how to use it when wi-fi is not available?
Sorry, I am just a beginner about these things and have no idea how to change it.

The "rainy" matrix screen doesn't show up when my MBP is offline

Hi,

I've installed your latest 9/7 version to my MBP running on macOS v.10.12 Sierra. The matrix screensaver works fine when my MBP is connected, but when it's offline after the "numeric digit" screen (similar to this) appears, the screen goes blank and I won't see the "rainy" screen (similar to this).
