The recipe as listed by JEI to make an "Ancient Compendium" (ID: 7743)
is to combine a Magic Crystal Shard (from EB Wizardry) and a vanilla book. What results is missing a texture and is named "Guide Book"
from the Patchouli mod. This item cannot be opened like a book, and seemingly has no uses.

so when I deleted twilight forest since I felt like I will not do anything with it then vanillafix told me this after deleting it

Tested 25+ Everlasting Crystals in multiple biomes and only ever got 3 drops: 85% of the time it was Emerald, 10% of the time it was Diamond, and 5% of the time it was [Redacted]. Tooltip specifies the Everlasting crystal should produce a random crystal when right clicked.

The Will O' Wisp spell and the /listbiomes command ends up erroring when trying to find a biome when there happens to be the same biome at the same key. I was using MC Eternal and only added OptiFine and Reload Audio Device as mods.

Current workaround: Disabling the ring in the ebwizardry.cfg should stop this code being executed as electroblob.wizardry.item.ItemArtefact.getActiveArtefacts() will not return a disabled item.

when using transportation portal with the ancient compass, if you have multiple circles remembered and go into pocket dimension, it erases your remembered stone circles. otherwise love this mod and it is flat out amazing

Hello, I just discovered this mod but I don't know where to find tablets, I did some dungeons but nothing at all. I am using version 1.1.3 of Ancient Spellcraft. Someone can help me ?

As said in title, essence extraction can be used to destroy imbuement altars in claims. I would greatly appreciate if this was fixed.

They appear to be eligible for research in the Sphere of Cognizance but when clicking the research button nothing happens

I just updated to the latest version of this mod, explored my world a bit and randomly experienced this crash. After attempting to reload the world several times, it would either crash again immediately, or after a few seconds. This behaviour seems to have ceased since removing the mod.

A friend of mine noticed that on our server the Summon Skeleton Horse spell crashed his game when he used it. I then started a single player world to test out if any of the other mods I was using where causing the issue. When I started the game with only Electroblobs Wizardry and Ancient Spellcraft I still had the issue.
If I use a scroll it does not crash and nothing happens, but if I use a wand it crashes.

I tried finding videos or a wiki but could not find anything. How do I create a spellbook and that stuff? I have a scribing desk and a grand stone tablet. But nothing I try is working.

Using the spell Summon Skeleton Horse from a wand kicks me from a server but doesn't cause the server itself to crash, meaning I can log back in without a problem but as soon as I try again, the same thing happens. Since I'm only getting kicked though, there's no error log. Below is a youtube video of it happening.

which spell i need to use and the correct form to use it? i tried some by the name and description, but i couldn't.

Pointed at a stone block, spell channeled, then crash. Was deep underground with floating entities on the ground from mining, if that matters.

EDIT: Re-entering the world, you'll see a single block of quicksand. I tested the scroll of quicksand summoning and it didn't crash the game, but also only summoned a single block of quicksand. I tested the spellbook and scroll of quicksand ring and both appeared to work properly (although it wasn't quite a "ring" around me)

it works for making spells where all 3 slots are used but for some reason it dosent work for ones that dont use all the slots

am I doing something wrong or is this some sort of bug on the mods end?

• consider a Tame Animal related artefact which could tame more powerful things temporarily.

A friend of mine casted "Spirit Ward" to discover this spell on my private server. Doing this, the server just crashed and now everytime we try to join it, our minecraft crash as well. I discover, doing tests with this spell on the single player, that if you cast this spell nerby to any block floating around you, the map will completely crash. ~ Also, when I put devoritium doors on the floor, the minecraft crash as well

the radial menu has a bug: if you put an unknown spellbook into a wand and the info is still encrypted, going to the radial spell menu shows the spell name unencrypted

Issue details: Friendly wizards found in towers are incorrectly named 'unknown' and despawn when chunk is unloaded, if Ancient Spellcraft is installed.

To reproduce- 1) Find a wizard in his tower. 2) Leave the area for a while. 3) Return to where you found him. 4) Be sad because dad went to get magic crystals and never came back.

I've been looking for it and tried many wikis and videos and I can't seem to find any someone did say that it can be obtain by using one of this addons spells but they didn't say which one

What does the Evergrowing Crystal artifact do?

My server crash, i think it was a problem of ancient spell craft, i send here my crash log.

Sometimes, when placing items on the Scribing Desk, the game crashes.
Originally, I though it was when placing the ingredients out of order, but even when doing them in order it happens now.
The only solution I found so far was to break the desk and replace it, which seems to work all the time for a new discovery.

When entering the pocket dimension using the master-tier sorcery magic of the same name, it sends me to a void which instantly kills me. No blocks, no nothing. Unsure whether this is intentional or not.

Alternate issue that i find funny, but I think it's on IAF's side, ice and fire dragon nests spawn in said dimension. Version 1.1.1, using Electrobobs 4.3.1.

As the title suggests, I believe it would be useful to have a config option that prevents transportation portals from moving all entities except players.

Using Ancient Spellcraft 1.1.1 with Electroblobs 4.3.1 on the newest version of Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons.
Attempting to use the Blockweaving spell throws errors into console. The first location designation works fine - It shows the position is saved - but the second right click fails to work. I'm not familiar with Minecraft modding but I get the sense that this might be a VanillaFix problem. If so, let me know and I'll send it over there, otherwise feel free to ask if there's any more info I can provide. The error in console is below.

As from the title im playing on a server and discovered the spell then used it and kept getting internal server errors, the problem seems to occur when the potion effect wears off and the solution is to just spam clear potion effect in the console and this is recreatable, not sure if there is any thing else i need to post if so let me know, thank you in advance.

Very minor issue since it's not hard to figure out what this item does.

I use the older version of AncientWarfare2 (2.7.0.704), becuase i didnt get managed let the new amazing AW2 work lagfree. Does the new version of AncientSpellcraft (1.1.3) work with the older version of AW2? If yes, do im gonna miss feature?

I've already Researched "stone Tablet" in "Sphere of Cognizance". Is there something wrong or is it a bug??

Simply placing the Devoritium door crashes the game with just Electroblob's Wizardry and Ancient Spellcraft installed. I placed the door on a grass block while in creative, if that matters.
