Hi, I'm trying to use this plugin with PhoneGap 3.5 but I can't find a way to make it work. As the title says I am getting the error when I press on the Scan button. I have looked everywhere to find a way to make this work but I still cannot find a solution. I'm also knew to phonegap. Can someone please point me to the right direction here? I'm lost ..

This code is completely phony. Not only does it not work, it literally can't work, because there's nothing in the code calls.

Creating a new app using this repository on PhoneGap build results in "plugin unsupported: childbrowser" error.

Hi,

I got the demo working and i can scan barcodes and also getting the result.text.
But when i click the cancel button the app crash without any error message.
the camera disappears and the app is just freezed.

Anyone got any ideas how to fix it?

Plugin does not seem to compile on ios.
The linker complains about missing files and refuses to compile.

Is there a way for speed up the scanner?
I have to scan many barcode, so i would maintain open the scan and point it from a barcode to another ..

Adding jQuery and jQuery Mobile to the project results in the camera freezing in iOS on the first image the camera sees when scanning.

• This is seen on iOS 6.0.1 with jQuery 1.8.2 and jQuery Mobile 1.2.0.
• The project is built with PhoneGap Build and the equivalent Android build works fine.
• I've tried moving the script tags to different locations in the index page.
• I've tried jQuery.noConflict() in case of a conflict with another of the js includes.
• I've tried using the CDN links for the jQuery scripts as well as local copies of the libraries.

Unfortunately, the issue remains. Curiously, including either jQuery library alone does not freeze the camera…. Perhaps this issue should be raised through Apache's JIRA tracker instead? Anyway, thanks for the lovely plugin!

I'm trying to execute your project in my Windows 8 Tablet (HP with Windows8 Pro) and I'm not able to do it to work. The camera is launched and open but it seems that it is not scanning. No appears any figure or area where scan functionality is active. And no appears any alert with the scan result.

What I have done to execute the project is:
1 - Create a new cordova project
2 - clone your project inside www
3 - move config.xml to the correct path
4 - Install de plugin with cordova plugin add
5 - Build the project
6 - Create the tablet package
7 - Run the app

Any idea about what am I doing wrong?.

Uploaded the demo to Phonegap Build and installed onto the phone but scan link does nothing. the childbrowser links all work fine.

I tried the barcode demo app and it is not working. this is the error "Cannot read property 'barcodeScanner' of undefined"

Its working on samsung galaxy y running android gingerbread but not working in samsung galaxy tab running android froyo.
