What is working

When you try to break a white wool block with woolWhite in oredict config you can't. That's fine.

The issue

When you try to break a red wool block with woolWhite in oredict config you also can't.

Any ores or stone blocks added cannot be harvested with a pickaxe. Blocks behave as if being mined with fist. Examples include any oreX block (oreCoal, oreIron, oreCopper when other mods loaded, etc), stone, cobblestone, brickStone etc added to S:"Unpunchable Ores" and minecraft:stone_slab and minecraft:stone_stairs etc added to S:"Unpunchable Blocks". This also applies to any blocks I've tested that require other tools, such as minecraft:gravel and sand (ore), harvesting with a shovel behaves as if being harvested with fist (that is: block is immediately replaced, does not produce drops, and hurts player if setting is enabled).

Adding minecraft:acacia_fence_gate as block and trapdoorWood ore causes these blocks to be harvestable by axe only, not with fist, as expected. So it seems that blocks that are associated with any tool other than axe are a problem.

minecraft:dirt as block and dirt as ore does not have any effect on harvestability of dirt, it is always harvestable.

would it be possible to have the damage be dealt as you're trying to break the block and not after it breaks? I think it would be more immersive.
