Interesting. Do you get the same when running Compass in a raw console, not with the package?
Which OS are you using and which version of Sublime Text?

Nope - console was fine. OSX 10.8.5 / ST2.0.2 (build 2221).

Just looks wierd ;) It may be a problem with my local config then... I have a shed load of homebrew and ruby stuff going on with my path (outside of ST)...

Well then I'm closing this here for the moment. If you get problems with this path and may be able to say where it comes from, It could be a good point on the F.A.Q. for other struggling with the same problem.
