web2dymo-docker's Issues

Fix addprinters (exit status 0; not expected)

To fix this:

app_1 | 2020-07-17 20:41:07,716 INFO exited: addprinters (exit status 0; not expected) app_1 | 2020-07-17 20:41:08,718 INFO gave up: addprinters entered FATAL state, too many start retries too quickly

maybe add a delay of 1 or 2 sec before exit script

Barcode

Add an Barcode function.

This would be usefull for te food Handling.

Dymo450 Isn't added correctly using Command line but works in Cups GUI

Hi, I really liked what you've done here and am wondering if you've come across this issue that I'm getting with cups and my Dymo450 LabelWriter.

When I use your python script(really good script btw!" to add my printer to cups, it adds correctly, however when I try to print anything using cups. I keep getting the printer stuck in waiting for printer to become available.

Does this happen for you as well?

I find that if I add the printer through the GUI it works, but through command line it doesn't.

I'm trying to use it for this project here:
https://github.com/ScottGibb/Cups-Dymo-LabelWriter450/tree/BugFix-No-longer-working-on-Chrome/edge

ToDo

  • Clean Temp-Files
  • Add shadow to preview
  • Move fpdf to libs folder
  • Prevent direct access to .git/libs folders

URL to print server wont seem to work??

Hi there,
I know this isnt technically an issue per se, but this is quite a niche project and i was wondering whether you could list the format or a 'working' example for the socket line in the docker compose file (PRINTER1_DEVURI: socket://url.to.print.server:9100)?

Im a little unclear on what the URL should be... in my instance the print server runs on IP address 192.168.1.30 would this line simply be:

PRINTER1_DEVURI: socket://192.168.1.30:9100

If so, i'd have expected the variable example it to read (PRINTER1_DEVURI: socket://IP.to.print.server:9100)

Any help would be really appreciated!
