Scala implementation of Shape Maps

Introduction

This project contains a Scala implementation of Shape Maps.

Installation and compilation

The project uses sbt for compilation as well as Java 1.8.

  • sbt test compiles and runs the tests

Implementation details

  • The engine is based on Monads using the cats library
  • The compact syntax parser is implemented using the following Antlr grammar (previous versions used Scala Parser Combinators) which is based on this grammar

Shape Maps from module to project itself.

Would be possible to refactor the project so that shapemaps go from being as a module to being the project itself?

Let me explain it better. Currently shape maps is a module within this repository, however the repository itself is for the shape maps project. So I don't know to what extent it is correct that it is a single module. My proposal is that the src directory is directly the source code for shape maps.

RoadMap

This is a meta-issue which describes the RoadMap:

  • Create a standalone shapeMaps implementation according to the spec ✔️
  • Update shapeMap spec to include paths
  • Update shapeMap spec to include SPARQL keyword
