so always override/rewrite
utm_source=civimail-XXX, where XXX = mailing_id
utm_medium=email

if there isn't any utm_campaign, set utm_campaign=YYYYMMDD_LANG
LANG is fetch from campaign language linked to the mailing
if no campaign: YYYY-MM-DD

if there is a utm_campaign, don't touch it

When link contains token {contact_checksum}, new link is broken.

Explanation: Token {contact_checksum} is a special type of token in civicrm which is not linked with variable. Example:

before, in civimail:
page?cid1={contact.contact_id}&{contact_checksum}

after, link in email (bad, with additional =):
page?cid1=111111&cs=blablablablabla=

should be:
page?cid1=111111&cs=blablablablabla

I notice in your documentation that

This feature works based on not published hook hook_civicrm_alterUrl, yet.

I agree this hook is not present on https://docs.civicrm.org/dev/en/latest/hooks/list/

Is this hook in core? If not, have you submitted a PR to have it included?
