Yeah, i think that could be support, perhaps serviceWorkerURL, which could be serviceWorkerURL=xxx/yyy/ads8f798798ads98.js and then replayBase would be set to xxx/yyy.
Are you expecting this URL, and in particular, the path to change a lot? Ideally, it will remain in a fixed location.

Supported in 1.8.0 release with swName attribute on <replay-web-page>, eg. <replay-web-page swName="custom.js"> Should have only filename, path should still be configured via replayBase

It is a fixed location, the path will not change. The path will be www.yourdomian/api/files/ and the filename will always remain the same "serialized" name.

As background, we develop the Uwazi platform. One of our users wants to integrate their collection of web archives into our platform so that it is searchable, they can benefit from aggregations, etc.

We provide the ability to upload any custom file, but we serialize the names (for the time being) in order to avoid dealing with naming problems. We are also looking into letting go of this practice and allow custom files to keep their names, but it's not completely hassle free.

Maybe it's useful for me to understand: why is there a need from that "intermediate" service worker? Why cannot it be downloaded from a CDN as well? Is there something else done in the replayBase path directory? Do you do any filesystem actions there?
