for the type="range", you can use the onChange event on the HTML as you did for other inputs.

Getting random number:
random = Math.floor(Math.random() * 101);
if (random > 80) {

you need to get random number -> 0 or 1. You can do:
Math.round(Math.random())

The JS file was very long with the samples you put there.
