fritzing-parts's Issues

Is esp32 devkit footprint correct?

Hi, thanks for your work and making it public.

I am new to fritzing and needed a ESP32 devkit v4 schematic and footprint, and found yours.

But I am having a problem with it: when I try to use it in my PCB and put it in the default upper layer (looking from upside), the pins are mirrored, as if it were put in the down (last) layer or you were looking from the opposite side of the board.
The letters read correctly.

Other components, when I put it in the board, letters read correctly and pins are correctly ordered as seen from upside of the board.

May be I am missing something, but it seems as the pinout is mirrored.

May you help me with this please?

Issues with MH-ET LIVE ESP32 DEVKIT 38 pins

Hi there

I'm using your ESP32 Devkit 38 pins part in Fritzing - thanks so much for making it available! However, I am having some trouble with the part and would be grateful for a hint or two:

  1. The part looks perfect in the Breadboard and Schematic views, but in the PCB view it seems to be flipped vertically - the top row of pins is on the bottom, and vice versa. This looks like I would have to put the part on the underside of the board. I am a Fritzing noob - am I missing something here?
  2. When I run the Design Rules Check, an error message comes up for each of the 38 connectors: "Connector ... on Part MH-ET LIVE ESP32 DEVKIT 38 pins 'ESP32-DevKitC' should have both copper top and bottom layers, but the svg only specifies one layer.' I am not at all sure what this means.

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Thanks again
Adam
