reziwebsite's Introduction

Rezi.one - The Fastest and Largest Pirated Game Search Engine

What is Rezi.one?

Rezi.one is a pirated game search engine targeted at newer users to the piracy scene. The goal was to create a search engine that would have every game imaginiable while still being faster than any other search engine such as Google or DuckDuckGo. This is the second iteration of the Rezi Project after the Rezi Bot broke, instead of using a discord interface, it is now in a website. This site basically does everything the Rezi Bot did except it runs on a website and is much faster. It gets games by scraping the sources sites every 24 hours and adds it to the search engine with all the necessary data so you can search by it.

Is there an API?

Yes! You can find all the documentation including keys at the Rezi Docs. There are other things in there than the API such as best searching practices, how to download safely and the sources used for all these games. These docs also allow you to try out requests to see how they work and what a request would look like in different languages. Pretty neat!

Projects that use Rezi

Put yourself here!

Sources

You can find all the sources used in the Rezi Docs. If you would like to add a new source, make an issue and I'll try to get to it as soon as I can. I work on other projects so I can't get to everything, but I will eventually!

What about the Rezi Bot?

Rezi Bot has been discontinued due to low interest and Discord piracy control getting very strict. I don't want to see any servers die due to my bot, so I decided to remove it. You can still run it yourself by going to the Github, or even create your own bot using the Rezi API.

Piracy

Yes, of course, I made it for piracy. As a reminder, this site will never host any content other than just links, so it will never be taken down for piracy for any reason, and as it is open-source, anybody could start their own site using the same principles if they wanted.

How can I help?

Good question! If you would like to help you can either donate (helps me out a lot). Also, if you find a problem, please report it in the issues tab in this github so I can fix it! Although the project will still recieve minor adjustments and fixes, I am not really updating this project anymore. There will most likely not be any more major updates. Feel free to fork and create a new site if you would like to add more major features.

reziwebsite's Issues

Add filters

When you search for a game that's multi-platform (and/or have different region versions) it gives you a bunch of different results you may not want. Adding a filter system (i.e. selecting what console it's on) would fix this problem.

Incompetence

This tool is just a scraper for malicious/plain bad game sites, hidden under a fancy closed source UI on a site.
You give an entire story and even made an API for the scraper, making it "simple" for people of any level to catch malware.
You should spens your expertise with UI on making actually useful resources instead of making a free advertisement to sites like SteamRip, which download games from dubious sources in the beginning and regurgitate the installed files into a badly compressed RAR file.

Almost no source you scrape is widely accepted by the community. You could have also consolidated both of your scrapers (same code, different py files for scraping tho) into a single site instead of buying two domains and giving another story for why it's called that way.

Another plain giveaway that this is just doomed is your constant mention of HEY! FREE SHIT! PIRACY! HERE! NOW! instead of giving subtle hints which don't set off alarms. I am giving you these tips because you seem to have a geniune interest in UI/UX and don't want your site to link to bad shit.

Another suggestion is to tweak your scrapers to not actually spam the sites with request/do it more efficiently, as scraping is generally bad and unethical. Use APIs when possible.

Add Game

Can you add The Battle Of Polytopia

[BUG] Searching does not work

Describe the bug
Searching simply brings up a ton of errors - A lot of them seeming like it's CORS related, although the CORS everywhere addon does not fix the issue.
Error log

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Literally just attempt a search

Expected behavior
Search results

Screenshots

The same thing happens on chromium.

Severity/Priority
10

Additional Notes
Attempted on both laptop (Ungoogled Chromium + FF nightly) and mobile (Iceraven.) No VPN and with Mullvad. No addons and with CORS everywhere.

API Docs

I only recently discovered this site and it is very well made. I was looking around and found the docs for the API, so I tried using the public key that is displayed there in the docs but to with no success. I was hoping you could either update the docs or simply provide me with an updated key?

mad rat dead/tembo the elephant

mad rat dead and tembo the elephant are (i believe) both ps4 games, but ive seen some videos of them and they seem really cool! could you add these games on rezi if possible, great website btw, great interface and you feel POWERFUL using it because of how many games there is on there

Searching two words will sometimes ignore the second word

Title.
I was looking for Steel Strider, as the game lacks a demo and I want to give it a try to see if it'll be worth playing, as I'm interested in it. However, whenever I try and find it through this search engine, it just completely ignores the second word. I'd imagine it's because it can't find a result, but nonetheless, it results in confusion. At least Google tells you when it can't find that result, and so it trims it.

Edit: I did eventually find the game, it was in cs.rin.ru
Hard game to find. Seems like a great game in theory, wished more games like it existed.

Searching specifics sometimes doesn’t bring up the results

I noticed an odd behaviour where when I searched “Super Mario 64” I got most games that had Super Mario/Mario/super in the title but super Mario 64 was nowhere to be seen. But when I searched “Mario 64” it was there despite the game result having the title “super Mario 64” only “mario 64” found it and not the actual title “super mario 64”

I was also only able to find super Mario 64 on page 7 by searching “Mario 64” when it should’ve been on the first page

The actual total page count is not displayed correctly

Hello,
When I did a search on a game, first it shows me that it was only 2 pages available and I thought that all the games I searched for wasn't available.

image

But then when I went to the next page, the number of available pages just increased.

image

I know it's a feature from Meilisearch to avoid to iterate on all the db, but imo for UX it's a bad experience.

Regards,

Rhythm doctor

The game isn't available on the search engine and i don't wanna dl from igg

Search input broken; console error on every keypress

Hey,
I've noticed today that the input is not working, anything I press is not displayed nor searched for.
So I took a look in the console and on every keypress there seems to be a console error that says:

Hope you can get this fixed soon.
And thanks for the great tool.
