this module should not have files as dependencies, but directly be able to process inputs as string to the schema

This way you can avoid the "ugly hack"

Using yarn v1.1.0

doing

 yarn add -d graphql-to-json

with a package.json script script

"schema:json": "graphql-to-json ./src/graphql/schema.js",

fails:

 graphql-to-json ./src/graphql/schema.js
env: node\r: No such file or directory
error Command failed with exit code 127.

It would be great if this could be piped into e.g. gql2ts
