If you move over a subject, it should highlight it on the screen.

Bad selectors (anything that is not a string) will result in a timeout.

So instead of waiting for a timeout to happen, you could notify the user in advance that he's using a bad selector.

If you click "step-into" into steps that have been auto generated, then for example, it does not work.

Most IDEs offer this as an option: remove trailing spaces (on each line) when saving.

Either make it a default behavior or make it an option (though I don't know why anyone would want to keep trailing spaces)
