selene's Issues

Customization Documentation?

Is there any documentation on how to get started customizing the theme? Perhaps adding a background picture to the header? Changing the default color? Anything at all would be greatly appreciated. I am new to Ghost overall but if you point me in the right direction I am fairly competent and hopefully could contribute some How To's based on my discovery. Thanks

Headers cause an extra line visually in Selene whereas that extra line does not appear in the preview pane.

Hello,

I am seeing an issue with H6 header. Possibly with other sizes too. Here's a screen shot

And here's the actual HTML:

<p>This means the <code>request.status_code</code> is incorrect when accessed in the
<code>after_request</code> method.</p>

<h6 id="workaround">Workaround:</h6>

<p>To circumnavigate the issue I used <code>Bottle's Plugin</code> concept like so:</p>

<pre><code>from bottle import Bottle, run, response, HTTPResponse

Would like to know how to setup correct links for the round icons on the top right and what they stand for.

Hi,

I know one stands for bitbucket, another for github, another for stackoverflow. But it would be very helpful to know how I can modify them so that they link to correct places. Moreover, I don't know what each of them stand for. So it would be super awesome that when I hover over them that they say "You github", "Your codepen" etc...

So in summary:

a. hover with more informative verbiage
b. README.md on how to provide correct links for them. It would be awesome if you provide a config.js that users can modify to provide correct links.

Thank you for the beautiful work!

More customization

Sorry if I am a bother and maybe its just because I am new to Ghost but there are a few other things I was hoping to get some help customizing. I would love to float a few more icons at the bottom next to the rss link. I was able to customize the floating links at the top fairly easily with your help in the readme text but I am getting stuck at the rss links. Also I am not sure what this effects per say but I was never able to run the "grunt && say awesome" command as it would always error and I found little help whilst googling and my understanding of how node and bower and grunt work is limited as I am new to the whole Node.js platform entirely. I was able to change the colors not in the file you referenced but instead I basically got the hex value of the color currently on the theme and then did a find and replace in the css files to change all instances of the color to the new color I wanted. Not the easiest but it worked. Any suggestions you have for me to educate myself on these matters would be greatly appreciated. I enjoy your theme and thank you for you hard work and generosity in open sourcing this code. Thanks
