Weather App

This ReactJS project allows users to view the weather forecast for different cities. Additionally, it provides detailed weather information for the selected city, including data such as Probability of Rain, Thermal Feeling, Wind Speed, Air Humidity, and more. Moreover, it offers users weekly weather forecasts for their selected cities.

Technologies Used

  • ReactJS
  • OpenWeatherMap API

Project Setup

  1. Clone this repository: git clone <(https://github.com/VeyselGaziDuran/weatherApp)>
  2. Navigate to the project directory in your terminal: cd WeatherApp
  3. Install the required packages by running: npm install
  4. Start the development server using Vite: npm run dev

API Key Setup

  1. Visit OpenWeatherMap API to obtain an API key.
  2. Create a .env file in the root directory of your project if it doesn't exist.
  3. Open the .env file and add the following line: REACT_APP_OPENWEATHERMAP_API_KEY=000000000000

Usage

  1. Use the search bar on the home page to find the city you want.
  2. Weather details and forecasts will be displayed, including the specified weather parameters.
  3. Weekly weather forecasts for the selected city can be found at the bottom of the page.
