Issues when editing coordinates about vesta_shared_places HOT 2 CLOSED

"It would be nice if code could be borrowed from OpenStreetMap (OSM) to recognize other lat/long formats. If I get the coordinates from exiftool on a photo I took there, they come as 13 deg 24' 56.98" N, 87 deg 21' 55.28” W and OSM also accepts 13°24'56.98"N, 87°21'55.28"W"

The code used for shared place map coordinates edit is adapted from webtrees core code.

When editing map coordinates of events in webtrees, the input is adjusted immediately, but not all formats work as expected (such as "13°24'56.98"N"). This will have to be fixed in webtrees itself. Behavior such as "I selected the default E0 and pasted W87.510833. The 0 went but the E stayed, giving me EW87.510833" is also in webtrees core code (Javascript functions webtrees.reformatLatitude/webtrees.reformatLongitude) and will have to be fixed there.

(When editing control panel geographic data map coordinates, the input is adjusted on save. We don't do that here but we use similar functionality for conversion from/to the osm)

Bugs leading to stack dumps will be fixed in the next Vesta release. Everything else will have to wait for webtrees 2.1 and/or webtrees bug fixes in this area.
