Vertica provides system tables in the schemas "V_CATALOG" and "V_MONITOR" that let you monitor your database and evaluate settings of its objects.

Those tables are not shown using this driver.

DBeaver, by contrast, has an option to "Show system objects" (see attachment), which, when ticket, shows the two schemas and their tables like any other schema.

Cannot connect to the server with Vertica driver, but possible with the SQL Tools for PostgreSQL driver.
SSL is enabled in PostgreSQL. There is no SSL setting in Vertica driver.

There's does not appear to be a way to pass through advanced/vertica specific connection parameters like tlsmode=require.
