craft-documentsearch's Issues

Still working? No documents indexing and no record of contentkeyword in index

I was wondering if you could confirm if this plugin still works with the latest Craft 3 release. I've set it up and attached a few very basic text only pdf files to content and even after running craft document-search/parse-documents/index-all don't seem to be getting anything indexes.

Looking at a previous issue #1 there was a mention of a contentkeywords field containing the extracted search terms. Looking through my searchindex db table that field is never mentioned, so I'm wondering if I've just missed something here - was I supposed to add a contentkeywords field to the assets so it can store this, or should the plugin be handling it?

Many thanks

Any plans for craft 4 update?

Hi! Do you still maintain the plugin and do you intend to update it for craft 4?
We are highly interested in the functionality; if you'd decide to abandon it, we might also be of help.

Environment variable not parsed

When using an environment variable to set the path to pdftotext the plugin doesn't appear to parse it and tries to use the literal variable text instead.

Craft version: 3.5.13.2 (Pro)
Plugin version 1.0.2

No keywords extracted.

Hello! Evaluating the plugin but I'm not having any luck getting keywords to populate.

If I run the command in my terminal, I do get text out of the document, so I'm not sure what is going on. Not seeing any logging going on as a result of your Craft::info calls either.

no keywords found

Perhaps I've configured this wrongly, however, I cant seem to get any PDFs returned in my search results. I can see my PDF assets listed in the 'searchindex' table and the filename listed within the 'keywords' column, should I be seeing any extracted text in this same column in the database? Thanks!
