Venmo is launched with the user having an option to Pay or Receive. This allows the user to disregard the txn value and the calling application does not get to know which flow was triggered.

I started the Venmo intent in my app, but when I'm not logged into Venmo, it crashes after briefly showing the login screen.

This error shows up in logcat

java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to destroy activity {com.venmo/com.venmo.ComposeActivity}: java.lang.NumberFormatException: Invalid long: "NaN"

REQUEST_CODE_VENMO_APP_SWITCH cannot be resolved when attempting to pass it as a parameter in startActivityForResult.

As you can see there is no pay also cancel button leads to a website which down.

My application allows users to let people share their Venmo account. This functionality works great and users are brought to the profile view in the Venmo app, unless the user has a PIN. When the user has a PIN and they select the Venmo user from our app, they are brought to the Venmo app and they put in their pin and are taken to a blank blue screen. Thanks! Would like to push the user to Venmo with the recipient field blank. If I leave the recipient string empty, then the amount will not be filled in.

No one is probably following this project anymore but any help out there would be appreciated! I am using this app switch for a mobile applications class and whenever I try to charge someone I get either an invalid parameter message or invalid email address error. I believe this stems from the appID field in my activity. In the read me it says, "is the application ID you have registered with venmo.com". I don't know if this is referring to the requester/payers email, username, or phone number. I tried a combination of everything and it still fails to send. I also tried putting @ in front of the user name and no luck. What am I supposed to put in the appID field?

isVenmoInstalled() which checks if the app is installed in device always returns false. The issue seems to be with the package name for ComposeActivity, which has been updated to "com.venmo.controller.ComposeActivity" in the app

When I try to send money using phone number which is not registered in venmo. the transaction does not happen stating the user does not exist in venmo. In normal flow it should send the phone number a message saying that someone has sent you money and you should register with venmo to get the money and transfer to your bank.

This does not happen with the library.
Please solve.

I use Venmo iOS SDK. I can get access token on iOS. How to do it on Android? On this SDK, I can only switch to Venmo app to make a payment. I would like to get user's info on Venmo.
