Project description

  1. Learn about DJI Phantom 4 Pro.
  2. Find the way of UGV recognition with tag or not.
  3. Find the way of tracking UGV using drone.
  4. Automize taking on and off UGV.

Plan and schedule

  • Step 1. Review user manual and basic functions. Complete to: 03.04.2018
  • Step 2. Review research article «Collaborative control of UAV/UGV» (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/7057485/). Complete to: 03.04.2018
  • Step 3. Review DJI Mobile SDK API (https://developer.dji.com/mobile-sdk/documentation/introduction/index.html). Try to simulate fly and use some intelligent functions. Complete to: 17.04.2018
  • Step 4. Implement tag recognition algorithm. Complete to: 24.04.2018
  • Step 5. Implement tagged UGV tracking algorithm. Complete to: 01.05.2018
  • Step 6. Aircraft takeoff, landing. Complete to: 08.05.2018
  • Step 7. Verification and debugging. Complete to: 15.05.2018
  • Step 8. Work figuration. Complete to: 22.05.2018
