If I look inside direct_effect.apply(&simulator_source, in_, out);
I can see the simulation_outputs.direct.occlusion
is changing as expected, and simulation_outputs.direct.flags == 24
which means occlusion and transmission should be applied, but that part doesn't seem to be happening.

Interesting: Commenting out the line simulator_source.set_transmission();
makes occlusion work (except you'd obviously be missing the transmission effect). The investigation continues...

Looks like it's an issue with the materials. If I set the transmission to user-defined in FMOD (aka ignore whatever material properties are there) then it works as expected
from steamaudio.
It's the numTransmissionRays
that needs to be set to something other than 0 🤕
