linuxmotehook's Issues

Can't make aiming profile

I want to be able to make a profile that would have the Wii Remote pointing straight ahead instead of straight up or horizontal, but I can't seem to get one to work. It's useful for games like Splatoon. Thanks!

lua5.3: ./autocalibrate.lua:43: bad argument #1 to 'format'

Hello,

I've successfully compiled lua-xwiimote and after connecting wiimote with bluetooth and running ./autocalibrate.lua I get the following error:

lua5.3: ./autocalibrate.lua:43: bad argument #1 to 'format' (number expected, got nil)
stack traceback:
        [C]: in function 'string.format'
        ./autocalibrate.lua:43: in main chunk
        [C]: in ?

The wiimote is correcty detected by xwiishow:

Listing connected Wii Remote devices:
  Found device #1: /sys/devices/virtual/misc/uhid/0005:057E:0306.0002
End of device list

bad argument

on ubuntu-devel I'm trying the latest "bundled" package from this repository and got myself libffi6, as suggested here, but I get the following error:

$ ./main.lua
Note: no MotionPlus detected, providen data will be limited to acceleration only
If you have one, it can be hotplugged now

Problem launching in step 5 of the documentation - "Run main.lua in terminal"

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your work.

The lua libraries were installed manually via luarocks. Everything works fine before step 5. At this point when I try to run main.lua, here is the error message returned:

:~/linuxmotehook$ lua main.lua

Did i do something wrong?

Wiimote not recognised unless using direct input, gyro not working

Have configured a Wiimote motion plus and tested using PadTest and moving mote shows movement of gyro. Not exactly sure how to derive last three values from PadTest so just set them all to -1. Cemu recognizes the provider and I can set by Slot for the mote. When I go to configure though as a Wiimote no device is recognised - I can only find a direct input device which I can map buttons to but can't set rumble strength and when playing a game the gyro doesn't register (only buttons).

Would really appreciate some help as I must be missing something obvious.

crash after starting yuzu emulator

I'd like to use wiimote in yuzu switch emulator, which listens to any Cemuhook compatible UDP input source to provide motion and touch input. However, as soon as I start yuzu, the mail.lua crashes:

$ ./main.lua
Note: using individual calibration values
WiiMote successfully registered (MAC 0x0005057E0306)
