Channels are getting randomly muted when editing while the player is running. Persists through stop/play again actions, restarting the tracker fixes it. Multiple reports, cannot reproduce however. Has existed since at least 2.22. Possibly related to the new 3xx/9xx implementation.
Glitch prevents setting the low byte of the user drum pointer. Probably a leftover from changing ALPHA mode behaviour.
They open as text files instead of download.
As the title says. Pressing [ALPHA][)](mute all channels) during playback will crash the player and freeze HT2.
Howdy, I’m currently running audio out from HT2 on a TI84+ to the audio in on a tracker/sequencer. I’ve been getting some distracting feedback type audio aliasing and wondering if anything can be done to fix this. I can run it through a low pass filter and this fixes the issue but the sound loses a bit of character. Regardless, love the program and hope alls well o7
FX ptn 0x3f/ note ptn 0x7f are lost during saving.
Hi,
Sorry—I know nothing of the lineage of these machines. But! Just found a TI-89 in the closet and immediate thought of Houston Tracker. Before I go sorting out how to even hook it up to my computer and wiping out the OS, thought perhaps I could just ask if you know for certain that it won't work.
Thanks!
The 8xp builds should be migrated to no-stub format, so we no longer have to rely on DoorsCS.
As reported by giako9000: "If you mute a channel using the ,() symbols and load another track without un-muting, the "muting controls" commands in the new track loaded will be inverted. Nothing is damaged, it isn't just how it's supposed to work."

Could you maybe add a visual marker for every other four sequencer rows, or something else to easier spot 4-row blocks? When the screen is full of hexadecimal numbers, I find it tricky to keep track of my various song parts. Something like a vertical line to the right of the sequencer, like this maybe (scribbled in green here), might help:
Missing a cleanup of the savestate LUT after failed saves.
I know this is probably a very stupid question, but how do I exit the program? Hitting Quit does nothing and I've had to resort to hitting every key, nothing. So removing the batteries and reinserting them it is. Sorry, I've had this same issue with other programs in the past.
Accidental keypresses still occur occasionally, so the keypad debouncing routine needs more fine-tuning. Confirmed for 8x models, also there is one report of this happening on "late" 82 models.
Not sure whether it's worth spending time on this one right now, since the keyhandler should be rewritten completely at some point anyway.
Even if it means splicing my own link cable for my TI84+ whatevers an option?
Hi Friends , excellent idea !
Is it possible to use it on a Voyage 200 from Texas Instruments?
Thanks !
Hi, I know this is probably extremely basic, but just wanted to check how to do a back up. I connect to my TI-84+ through TI Connect rather than TiLP (was getting problems with it) - and it says in the manual I just save the entire program file on to my computer - is that right? I just ran out of battery and lost my work - so want to make sure I know how to back up properly before I rewrite it all!
Some recent update broke the 5xx duty sweep and 7xx synced auto-chord effect.
Note patterns: Lines are skipped when entering notes very quickly.
As reported by giako9000: "don't play to much around when you want to make drone sound with the fx F00. The calc will go nuts and you'll lose your work."
Me again! Any way of starting playback from a different position? I've figured out how to change the loop position but would like to not have to wait through the first half of the song to check the last part..
I install ht2 in my ti-83+ recently, I made the tutorial, but when I hit play, the program keep playing the first note only, the same when I put new notes, keeps playing that note only, like a drone thing and stop when I hit the play button (ENTER)
I re-install the program 2 times and still happen.
I have DoorsCS (last version) and ht2s.8xp
Checksum calculation in oysterpac produces wrong results, causing TI-Connect failure.
Several people have asked for auto-inc to be deactivated by default, so that's how it should be done.
Once the application runs, I am able to do things "normally" until audio plays, then the whole calculator freezes and the app crashes. Using a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition running 2.3, then I tried 2.2 to see if it would fix,a dn it still didn't work.
The "info block" on the right side of the screen should be changed so that status, block markers, and song parameters are arranged in a more consistent manner.
TI-82 Parcus build is broken and will crash the calc on exit.
Any ideas why?
Awesome software! Just cant seem to set the BPM right. Lets say I want 160Beats per minute. 160/60= 2,666667 so around that many beats each second with a grid of 16th notes. The problem is that i have no clue how many ticks are in a second and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Could you please tell me?
I am aware that i need to convert the value to hexadecimal before entering it in the TI. Oh and maybe add it to the manual:) thanks!
I have been trying to save songs on my TI-84+ Silver Edition, using the "Y=" key in ALPHA mode to save to slot 0 or 1. When I save, I get "E0", which means that the save should have succeeded. However, when I load the song again with "Y=" and enter slot 1 or 0, the song loads with the patterns intact, but they are not in the song itself, which is all "--", except for the first row, on channel 1 and 2. I have not seen an error other than "E0". I am running the .8xp program with Doors CS 7.2, as suggested by the "shell" column in the TI-84+ SE row, inside the table in section 1.3 of the documentation.
My only other calculator is a TI-82, whose ROM should be compatible with CrASH, but I cannot test it as I lack a GraphLink cable.
backing up HT2 with TiConnect on windows results in the following error:
The name of the current variable is missing.
Using a Ti84+SE.
Edit:
File transfer works fine with Tilp2 and Tiemu on linux lol.
As reported by Auke: [Play] does not play through the whole song, [play from position] does, however. Persists through tracker restart. Cannot reproduce, provided file plays ok.
headphone amp fritzing file is corrupt.
Hi @utz82 , I am trying to install the the CrASH 1.6 shell on a TI-82 but the CRASH.82B
file is not visible when I select file > restore for some reason. I created an issue on the tilp repo for reference: debrouxl/tilp_and_gfm#56
If you have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. I realize this is not directly related to HT2 but thought you may have an idea as to why this might be happening. Thank you!
