cordrapy's Issues

README Updates

This is a collection for updates that need to be made to the README

  • Links to all the examples
  • Check if there is a way to automate/enforce updating README when new examples are added

jsonPointer functionality is less than the Cordra REST API provides

Short Description- When passing obj_json 0 boolean or null values cordrapy identifies that as not satisfying the following check:

if not obj_json:
    raise Exception('obj_json is required')

However, it is perfectly valid to pass both False and None as obj_json in the url. Therefore, this check erroneously enforces less than the full functionality we would like out of CordraPy.

Cordra Version Environment Variable

We should figure out if there is a good way of writing the cordra version to some environment variable, which the README and the circleci read from to automatically configure documentation and tests for currently supported cordra version. Would ensure that there isn't a mismatch. Could also be useful for other packages that depend on CordraPy to read the cordra version programatically.
