Git Branch name from Jira Ticket

Firefox Extension that creates a git branch name from a Jira Ticket number and title.

Example

  1. Visit a Jira ticket URL ex: https://coolcompany.atlassian.net/browse/PROJX-01

  1. Click the Extension browser button

  1. 💥 The branch name ↓ is now in you clipboard. Just paste when creating a git branch!

Install

  • Open the about:debugging page,
  • Click "This Firefox" (in newer versions of Firefox),
  • Click "Load Temporary Add-on", then select any file in your extension's directory.

↑ The extension is now active

Usage

  • Click the extension browser button icon to get branch name in your clipboard
