librelinks's Issues

Page titles and meta tags

Add page titles and meta tags to each page/route๐Ÿ‘‡

image

Example:
Admin routes should have a page title of Admin etc etc

[Feature]: Current Tab Indicator

Description

Add an indicator on the tab options to show which page the user is currently on.
You could use a dot as the indicator instead of a line.

Toggle button should be present when editing the link

As an example, I initially added this as a Medium link, but it seems the logo doesn't display. Now, my intention is to transform it into a regular button. If there had been the same toggle button available during the initial link creation, I could have effortlessly made the change. However, I had to manually create a new one and remove the old link.

This scenario isn't unique; at times, individuals might want to convert their social media links into buttons.

[Question] i can't seem to make analytics work

First of all, Great work! this is a really good project. But i just can't seem to make the analytics work. I now encountered an issue

data: {
error: "The pipe 'libre_device_tracking' does not have an endpoint yet",
      documentation: 'https://docs.tinybird.co/api-reference/pipe-api.html'
    }

and i dont understand, do we need to create a data source in tinybird also? or maybe can someone guide me with this analytics?

Thank you

[Feature]: Add option to share a user's profile on their Librelinks page

Description

image

Add the share button to the top-left of the page as illustrated above. When clicked, the button should reveal a modal with options:

  1. Copy the link URL
  2. Download via QR code

The Modal should look something like this๐Ÿ‘‡ (you can re-use the share-modal component) :

Make it responsive both on mobile and desktop

Add a pull request template

When someone creates a pull request, they currently receive a blank template, which requires them to manually input details like issue numbers and screenshots.

image

By implementing a pull request template, we can streamline this process. Contributors won't need to think about what to include; they can simply provide the necessary information.

image

Additionally, we could also consider adding 1-2 issue templates. These would help create clear and tailored issue reports for various purposes.

I would like to work on this

[Feature]: There should be someway to view full bio

Description

Currently, the truncation method used for bio is not ideal; we need to find a way to display the entire bio to the user.

Proposal: When a user clicks on the three dots, they will be presented with the following interface for desktop and tablets:

image

For mobile devices, we will use this interface:

On the desktop, it appears as follows:

Meanwhile, on smartphones, it looks like this:

Which is not good in my opinion.

[Bug]: Username Case Sensitivity and Automatic Redirection for Link Uniformity

Description

When a user visits https://librelinks.vercel.app/Priyanshu, it should automatically redirect them to https://librelinks.vercel.app/priyanshu. Additionally, the system should enforce the rule that usernames cannot contain capital letters, as usernames are treated as links.

image

For example, on GitHub, https://github.com/PriyansuMaurya and https://github.com/priyansumaurya both lead to the same profile.

Use uploadthing

Use uploadthing to handle image storage. The current implementation works by converting the image into a base64 string and then storing that string in the db. This is not efficient.

[Bug]: Links Page is not responsive

Description

This is how the mobile version of the links page should appear, but in reality It is not responsive for either tablets or mobile phones.

This is precisely what I would like to fix.

Bug : Not able to log in via Google

The first time I logged in via GitHub, today I signed out (just for checking), and I logged back in. Then I encountered this issue: all social media and links were not getting fetched; I could only see the loading skeleton.

This issue occurred both on the actual page and the admin page.

image

image

To address this problem, I thought, 'Let's delete the account and create it again.' However, after deleting it, I am now unable to sign up using both GitHub and Google.

Note: I cannot provide more screenshots as I am unable to sign up to demonstrate the issue.
