Support for Logstash 5.0.1?
Error with Logstash 5.0.1:
[logstash.inputs.bro ] each: watched?: /nsm/bro/logs/current/weird.log: (#<NoMethodError: Direct event field references (i.e. event['field']) have been disabled in favor of using event get and set methods (e.g. event.get('field')). Please consult the Logstash 5.0 breaking changes documentation for more details.>)
Is there any planning for an update to Logstash 5.0.1?
/nsm/logstash/bin/plugin install --no-verify
Was unable to replicate this step. I found that I had to use
/nsm/logstash/bin/logstash-plugin install --no-verify
Wrong path in 'Setup network'
Under 'Setup network' - 'Setup the interfaces properly' the file path is wrong.
Should be: sudo bash -c 'cat > /etc/network/interfaces << EOL ...
and not: sudo bash -c 'cat > /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules << EOL ...
