Ideas for new AI lords about unofficialcrusaderpatch2 HOT 6 CLOSED

There are soundfiles saying "A message from the Boar" and "A message from the Hog" unused, found in the game files.

Also, there are unused sound assets for characters titled "bad_arab" and "bad_soldier", also bink files for "good_soldier" (halberdier from historical campaigns)

Scribe from SH1 also has 4 bink files, just like most of the other AIs. Monk from SH1 has two, and having 2 AIs using monks would make bigger variety.

Those were used for the third mission of the Crusader States campaign I think, where you had to fight against the Truffe brothers, 'The Hog' and the 'Old Boar', which were both just The Pig of course!

Yes that halberdier could be turned into an AI character, he could create loads of pikemen, maybe that would be a better use of a pikemen AI than my Lord Woolsack idea. 😃 I would like a pikemen spamming AI anyway, Emir sending long lines of Arabian swordsmen across the map to try and wreck enemy economies is very cool and it would be nice to have a European lord equivalent who created loads of pikemen to do a similar thing!

Nope, they remain unused, I played this mission many times. Hog and Boar are mentioned in the brief though. BTW. "Hog" could even mean "Hedgehog".

There is also "all_*" personality, who actualy uses "bad_soldier" binks, he's scribe for enemies from SH1, if we want them to have their own quotes when being allies he could have been transfered to being a standalone enemy (Firefly actually wanted to implement it once, as seen in demo version)

As much as I would like new AIs, it's probably not gonna happen in this patch, since the AIs seem way too hardcoded.

I think you can only make Lord Woolsack as he has a video and audio track and icons.
I really hope for the implementation of this AI.
