tu-154's Issues

Move to SASL 3

The current intention is to just move the current codebase to SASL 3, so it could work in newer X-Plane 12. That's it for now.

TU-154 issue for MAC users

Hi,

I'm running x-plane 11 on an M1 Mac using Rosetta Stone to emulate an intel Mac.

There are 2 issues that I'd like to bring to your attention.

1)In both the zip and tar versions of the TU-154 when they load into x-plane. I receive an error message stating that the mac.xpl file is from an unknown developer and the operating system will not allow the file to be opened. Note: A typical work-around is to go back and to the directory where in the mac.xpl file exists and open/close it with a text editor. When I do this the error message disappears and the aircraft in the past act normally. For example with the FlyJSim 727 series this method works and the aircraft operate as described in the manuals.

However, when I open the mac.xpl file with the text editor for the TU-154 and the aircraft loads I am unable to move around within the cockpit, nor can I go go outside of the aircraft. In other words the cockpit is frozen and I have re-load another aircraft to use X-plane.

  1. When I ignore the message about mac.xpl being from an unknown developer, the aircraft opens; I can move around within the cockpit, eg. captain seat, flight engineer panel, co-pilot, upper panel etc; I am also able to go out side of the aircraft and am able to use all standard views. When I return to the cockpit, captain's view, I note there is no way for me to access the built-in menu system for the aircraft. In older videos of the aircraft, there is a "hot spot" box labeled "menu" on the left side of the screen. This is not visible. A screen shot from an Youtube video showing the hot spot is shown below.

When I go to the x-plane title bar and select Flight > Edit weight and balance it shows the aircraft as having 43816.9 lbs of fuel, with zero fuel in the center and wings tanks

I hope that you will find some time to resolve these issues and make the TU-154 available for we Mac users.

In advance thanks for your assistance,
