While there is an event that essentially simulates a guarantee on the UN, not having any actual guarantee would be visually confusing for the player and cause the AI to severely underestimate the UN. An obvious solution would be to simply add a positive opinion modifier for all empires.

The original version of the converter had a set of bonuses and debuffs for nations depending on how strong they were in HoI4. Most of these I removed because they didn't work in modern Stellaris, but I should look into it again, to prevent smaller nations from easily overpowering the bigger ones.

Add support for converting from Millennium Dawn.

From very limited testing, it seems like the only blocker is the parser not liking the fact that there's an empty line at the start of the country localization file. Aside from that, support for Millennium Dawn's governments would have to be added.

it's bothering me

I'm pretty sure this was an issue previously but was never documented. The fleets will show up as %SEQ% in game.

Should have an option to either not convert factions, convert them into mutual defensive pacts, martial alliance federations or galactic union federations.

Currently HoI4 governments only convert to vanilla Stellaris governments, but my idea is to allow users to select how HoI4 governments are mapped to Stellaris authorities, ethics, and civics. Users would be able to supply any government mapping file allowing easy support for other mods.

I plan to include mappings for Ethics and Civics Classic by petruxa to start off.

Like in Hearts of Iron, it would not affect gameplay and would simply be a visual indicator. Could look into empires splitting off have the same culture as their origin empire.
