##FFmpeg.AutoGen

Auto Generated FFmpeg wrapper for C#/.NET and Mono.
Wrapper generated for FFmpeg 2.1.3

##Usage

The basic example of the library usage: video decoding, conversion and frame extraction to jpeg is included in FFmpeg.AutoGen.Example project.
For the more sophisticated operations I can recommend to read An ffmpeg and SDL Tutorial for C.

• on Windows:
  The native FFmpeg binaries are bundled with repository. The binaries source is Zeranoe FFmpeg, v2.1.3 been used for 32-bit and 64-bit platforms.
  The example project shows how specify path to native libraries.

• on OS X:
  Install FFmpeg via MacPorts:

sudo port install ffmpeg +universal

Please ensure that FFmpeg.AutoGen.dll coupled with FFmpeg.AutoGen.config. By default MacPorts keeps compiled libraries at /opt/local/lib.

• on Linux:
  You need to update FFmpeg.AutoGen.config with full path to FFmpeg libraries.

##Generation

The wrapper generator uses customized version of ctypesgencore package based on ctypesgen 0.r125.

Prerequisites:

• FFmpeg library binaries (see Usage)

• Python 2.7 with packages:

  • ctypes 1.0.2

• gcc - OS dependent:

  • on OS X - XCode Command Line Tools
  • on Windows - MinGW

Steps to generate:

• Execute: python generate.py
• File ./FFmpeg.AutoGen/FFmpegInvoke.cs will be regenerated.
