To reproduce:

1. open a terminal
2. adjust sound
3. click on the terminal and press the "left" arrow

The sound in 2 is quieter than the sound in 3.

I think adding a proper startup sound by default has a larger effect than one would think. It associates the experience with the theme to create a sense of familiarity. This wonderful sound I discovered in the old Ubuntu touch sounds package would suffice. I trimmed out this section from the Ubuntu sound.

On ubuntu 18.04 final beta, using the stable communitheme 0.1 installed via snap, I hear the default sound on top of the communitheme sounds. For example

1. Go into terminal and press the backspace or down arrow key
2. The default bell.ogg alert sound plays on top of the communitheme bell.ogg

As far as I know, this only happens in the terminal window. Any possible fix either you or I can do?

Meson fails to install the "communitheme-sounds" directory into usr/share/sounds. That's because the line 8 of meson.build try to look to a folder named "communitheme" while the folder is called "communitheme-sounds".

The solution would either to rename the sound theme folder to "communitheme" instead of communitheme-sounds (and changing the line 1 of the meson.build), or to change that line to communitheme-sounds (and changing the instructions too).

If there's an equivalent of iOS gloss to sound, than the trash sound kinda is that right now. It's not terrible, but it doesn't really fit with the cheery, kitten mewling, upbeat chirpiness that is the rest of the theme. What about potentially a bit of short tinkling layered on top of each other, like glass shards falling on the floor?
