Here's a guide on moving files between repos while preserving history: https://gbayer.com/development/moving-files-from-one-git-repository-to-another-preserving-history/
Good feedback:
The only additional thing I would like to see more detailed in the document is the methodology. I mean, I think if you explain a little bit more what is a binary search algorithm or put the main relevant equations there, the document will be more self-contained and easy to understand.
Doesn't look to be a way to move them directly to an existing GitHub repo, so might just involve downloading the files.
Could be an opportunity to use try local tools and the tips in this guide: https://github.com/dspinellis/latex-advice
From ubi-center/notebooks to this repo.
From https://github.com/dspinellis/latex-advice:
Use vector rather than bitmap images. So, avoid including a .jpeg or .png image if you can include a PDF created from vector data, e.g. by direct export from Inkscape or GraphViz or by converting an .svg file.
Means-tested Covid-19 cash transfer proposals are based on 2018 or 2019 income, e.g. the GOP Senate plan.
Start with a transition matrix from eligibility to ineligibility, using either the ASEC (50% of households in any given ASEC are also surveyed the prior year) or the SIPP (longitudinal for up to 4 years, but less data support e.g. from IPUMS; use TPTOTINC
for total income).
Then compare the means-tested proposals to UBIs in terms of poverty impact per dollar.
