When you click a pokemon in the Minesweeper page, there is about a 500-1000ms delay between clicking it and the name under the grid updating. If you switch the grid to use img tags instead of Image components, there is no noticeable delay. It is likely, at the very least, that something is re-rendering on click when it shouldn't, so that needs to be investigated.

TBH, I haven't really noticed the benefits of using the Image components locally. I'm assuming that their performance drastically increases once you get onto production because they're cached more efficiently or the server has them preloaded or whatever.
