Is there a chance to add a fullscreen command line argument so that the emulator can be used with launchrs like Launchbox etc?

If possible, Can you add an option to select the F18A, which is a video chip used in both "visually boosted"/enhanced TI99/4A's and the CollectorVision Phoenix console (which is actually a ColecoVision clone rather than a MSX or TI99/4A clone since they share the same video hardware with a different revision sometimes.) Please?

It adds several features including enhanced 256-color palette, better tiles, better detailed sprites, and even more. and on the plus side is it is backwards compatible with all classic TI video modes.

Before running across this was just looking for the font - could have sworn this had 0-31 and 128+ characters too like the tandy 1000; but that was a long time ago, but I found these manuals

I am running Classic99 on Windows 10. I have some issues with copying text from the clipboard into Classic99 using Alt-F1. The clipboard contents seem to be okay, but whatever is pasted (sometimes) prefixed by a control character. Here is some clipboard contents:

The hashmark in the end is a NUL character, supposedly terminating the string. If I paste this into TI Basic, it looks like this:

In TurboForth, the same clipboard contents comes out like this:

Pasting the same clipboard contents into other applications works as expected. Any ideas what could be causing this? I looked at the handbook for options regarding clipboard treatment. It mentions some Rich Text copying option that should be present in the dialog, but it does not appear to be there in QI399.032.

My goal is to be able to launch arbitrary TI-99 games from my game launcher. Though using app mode is one way to launch directly to a game, it requires a lot of work when considering many games (copying the .exe, custom .ini, hand-coding the filesizes, etc.).

It would be great to allow Classic99 to load a cart simply by providing a path to the first file as an argument when launching. I'd imagine the same logic for finding multiple "parts" using the filename ("part 1 of n") when adding user carts via UI could apply.

Example:

classic99.exe "path\to\Cart (Part 1 of 2).G"

The above would allow dragging a cart file onto the .exe file in Windows. However, if command line options were expanded I could see requiring a prefix, maybe even integrating the auto-select functionality from app mode.

If there already is a way to do this, I wasn't able to find it in the docs. Thanks!

Hi:

Something has changed, so that, when I try to use speech with TE2, the system tries to speak, then locks up.

This was working in a previous version from December 2019, but, haven't downloaded it until now, so not sure where the change happened.

I'm trying to set the cputhrottle parameter to 2 (System Maximum) in the classic99.ini file, but when I start the emulator, it always revert back to 1 (Normal). I'm using Windows 10.

Any idea?
