This is a proof of concept for Open Game Concepts (OGC).

• The purpose of OGC is to bring the spirit of open-source to game design area.

• OGC pursues highly abstract and modular design to keep the concept extensible and applicable for different genre.

• Using .md as document format for now.

  • Optionally read and edited with Obsidian for wiki-like navigation between documents.

• Using git for version control and collaboration for now.

  • Forks instead of pull requests are recommended for adding genre-specific details and implementations.

• OGC is planned to provide source codes for demonstrating the game concept.

  • The amibition is that each game concept is presented with a package/framework for implementation.
