Compiler Compatability Issues

On trying to install FBX Python Bindings, I encounter compiler compatibility issues:

      /home/ubuntu/mambaforge/envs/fbx/compiler_compat/ld: cannot find -lz: No such file or directory
      /home/ubuntu/mambaforge/envs/fbx/compiler_compat/ld: cannot find -lxml2: No such file or directory
      collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
      error: command '/usr/bin/g++' failed with exit code 1
      [end of output]

Similar issue were found for CocoAPI, and were resolved by adding extra_link_args. I did the same in pyproject.toml file in build-system as extra-link-args=['-L/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/'] to no avail.
