First, thanks for making this! 🎉

Context

So I followed the instructions in the README and tested it out with mdx-deck and the rocket showed up as the favicon. However, when I changed the icon, and restarted the dev server, it stopped working and showed the 'blank' favicon. BUT, it does work in the static output when I build the mdx-deck.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't work with the dev sever though? 🤔 Not sure if it's an issue with your library, or mdx-deck but thought I should let you know here.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new mdx-deck
2. Follow these instructions to add the favicon to your mdx-deck.
3. Run npm start to see your mdx-deck
4. Go to your webpack.config.js and change the icon to 💯
5. Stop the dev server then run npm start again.

Expected

The favicon should be the 💯

Actual

No favicon is shown.

If this uses Twemoji, it can hopefully have consistent results across all platforms.

• look into performance bottlenecks
• implement some form of caching so we don't regenerate icon every build
