Hi there,
This is on Debian testing/jessie.

I git cloned the repo. and inserted the whole repo. in pidgin and restarted pidgin. I was hoping to see the theme show in smiley themes as can be seen if using unicode-emoji but was not to be :(

As can be seen only the Default smiley themes show up. If however, I use unicode-emoji they show up without an issue.

I also saw quite some differences between the two images as matter of size .

Could the sizes have made the difference ? I deleted the other size directories but it didn't make any difference. It is possible that the theme file which is present in all three needs to be made here as well.

Update :- Also installed pidgin-themes package and saw that each of them also come with a theme file. This is what seems to be missing here.
