Old expo version v36.0.0
Something went wrong
This project uses SDK v36.0.0 but this version of Expo Go requires at least v38.0.0
Is there a simple version to downgrade the expo version on an android device so I can play with this project? Upgrading the expo version required by this project would also be nice.
Alignment with latest official react navigation v5
Thanks for a great example for react navigation 5
Are there any plans please to align it with the official and final version of react navigation 5?
Thanks, Oz

How to upgrade react-native-paper to v4
Hi @Trancever ,
I want to upgrade expo and react-native-paper to latest versions.
Could you change code or let me know how to do it.
Thank you for your time.
Switch to dark mode takes too long
The toggle to dark mode takes like 300ms. Can that be done that it toggles the theme near instantly?
Dark mode is not getting saved
So when switching to dark mode it doesn't get saved when reloading or restarting the app. Are you ever going to change this?
Also this is an expo managed project and to get it to a bare project there probably has to be heaps of work to be done or?
Use API instead of data/index.ts
I have a feed.tsx that returns a FlatList and it renders a function that map the variable twitts. And, twitt.tsx renders the body inside FlatList as the following code:
import {twitts} from './data';
const data = twitts.map(twittProps => ({
...twittProps,
onPress: () =>
props.navigation &&
props.navigation.push('Details', {
...twittProps,
}),
}));
function renderItem({item}: { item: TwittProps }) {
return <Twitt {...item} />;
}
The problem is, I could not setState() on feed.tsx and if I set twitts var as axios response, it doesn't work on map function! What could be the best approach to use Axios inside this file?
Web mode resets state on RTL toggle
This app works with Expo's web view, but the RTL toggle forces an Update.reloadFromCache
which wipes the new setting. Probably due to gap in expo web functionality, but noting in case someone has a solution.
How to navigate to screen from drawer.

EasingNode is not exported from react-native-reanimated
First of all, amazing repo and tutorial, I've used it as template for a RN monorepo that uses Javascript based react-native-web and yarn workspaces to build both mobile and web variants.
I've migrated most of the components with very little change, by hand (just to understand better each step) but when launching the web variant i'm getting:
Failed to compile
/home/praetors/Projects/node/proyectoSembrar/node_modules/react-native-tab-view/lib/module/TabBarIndicator.js
Attempted import error: 'EasingNode' is not exported from 'react-native-reanimated'.
This error occurred during the build time and cannot be dismissed.
In the other hand, the mobile version gives me a plain white screen and this logging in metro:

Issue in Animation when using headerMode float
Hi, Thanks for this tutorial app, it looks really great just one issue i am facing when using the headerMode float in the stack navigator causes the detail screen to show a weird animation that doesn't look ok.
But if we use default header from react navigation this issue doesn't happen.
