I loaded v1.04 from cph. Upgrade from prior version.
This error was happening on email folder refresh for one or two accounts from about 10 (home use!). Affects "inbox" but not calendar, contacts, other email folders.
However, by deleting a few hundred emails, problem goes away. This has happened a number of times, even on old version (0.9 I think). Is there a space limit somewhere being exhausted?

_Original post: After many many attempts to reinstall Kopano4S on my Synology DS918+, it seems the following MariaDB update breaks access to the database by the kopano user: Result is that not all or something no tables are created.

MariaDb Updated to version 10.3.21.
Added a new password policy for more security. This policy requires all passwords to meet the minimum length and contain mixed-case letters, numbers, and special characters; moreover, it does not allow common passwords or usernames to be used as passwords.

Server.log shows:
2020-02-17T20:24:53.273614: [error ] mysql_real_connect: Access denied for user 'kopano'@'localhost' (using password: YES)_

Turned out this was due to a leftover kopano share with a kopano-server.cfg with a previous password.

But, install keeps being very flaky. When installing, anywhere between 14 and 22 tables are created in de kopano database, and it seems random how much tables are created. Server.log states either
2020-02-17T20:32:08.284942: [error ] Tables missing inside database: no access (80000020)
or 'cannot update database.

Í have made 25 attempts so far , with many variations in sql settings etc, reinstalling mariadb etc, to no avail. So i'm giving up.

thanks for uploading your code to github! Looking through the code I am missing instructions how to generate a spk file from this repo (to locally try out changes.

I have recently refactored the buildscript for synocr (https://geimist.eu:30443/geimist/synOCR) but at first glance this repo has a different structure and also some differing subfolders.

Maybe adding something like https://gist.github.com/stefanbuck/ce788fee19ab6eb0b4447a85fc99f447 to upload the resulting spk to a "release" (basically a git tag) to Github would be interesting as well.

In https://github.com/zokradonh/kopano-docker/ there is also a Makefile to build and upload the Docker containers. Maybe this could be interesting in this repo as well?

Edit: instead of the script above uploading (and building a release) could also be done through Travis. Travis is free for public github projects: https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/deployment/releases/

Hi, I like to migrate from Zarafa to Kopano but my first tests to install Kopano are still failing. I did the following steps:

• git clone https://github.com/TosoBoso/Kopano4s.git
• ./build_spk.sh
• copy the spk to my laptop
• in Package Center did the Manual Install from the spk
• keep setting default, except domain en smtp

After starting Kopano4s I get the msgs: "Failed to run the package service"

What could the cause and where can I find a logging to see a msgs? Any help would be great.

I have DS918+ with 16GB Ram and some other docker containers running.

Hi, i currently have installed V 1.12 Beta on my nas (1512+, running dsm 6.2) but it does not show a newer version. I can also not find the non beta version in package manager. When i remove and add the cphub.net source i see apps appearing, but a few are missing like kopano4s. What could be the cause? I have installed Maria DB 10, Perl and Docker, so all requirements are good. Is there a reason some apps do not appear on my nas?
