Create Your Custom NFT Collection Dashboard in Minutes

This code template is designed to get your own customized NFT Collection Dashboard up and running in just minutes!.

In the src/config.js, simply set your:

  • NFT collection contract address
  • Blockchain chain_id where the contract address is deployed
  • Dashboard title and banner

That's it!

The live demo displays:

  • A customizable NFT collection dashboard page with a summary, a floor price graph and a preview of the first 5 NFTs in the collection
  • Ability to see where your specific collection ranks in the global view of all NFT collections on a specific blockchain
  • Ability to select a specific NFT in your collection and see its metadata

While a default Covalent API Key is used in this code template, it is recommended you register and use your own API key from: https://www.covalenthq.com/platform

Local setup

  1. git clone --branch main https://github.com/covalenthq/nft-dashboard-template.git
  2. cd nft-dashboard-template
  3. npm install
  4. npm start

GitHub Pages

On GitHub, the code is available at https://github.com/covalenthq/nft-dashboard-template

To get this working with GitHub pages, do the following:

  1. Click Use this template

Use GitHub template

  1. Name the repo and ensure you check off Include all branches. Click Create repository from template

Create NFT Dashboard Template

  1. Under the Settings tab, select the Pages menu item and copy the URL where your site is published.

  1. Make sure you are on the main branch and open up package.json. Update the URL next to the "homepage" field using the URL where your site is being published. Commit your changes.

  1. Make sure you are on the main branch and update the code in src/config.js using the details for your NFT collection:

Commit your changes. Your custom NFT dashboard should be live at your published URL in just a couple minutes. You can check the Actions tab in your GitHub repo to confirm that your dashboard has finished deploying.

Replit

On Replit, the code and hosted live demo site are integrated in one unified interface.

To get your customized NFT Dashboard working with Replit, do the following:

  1. Go to the Replit live demo and click Fork repl

  2. Create a Replit account if you do not already have one.

  3. Update the code in src/config.js using the details for your NFT collection (see above for code snippet).

  4. Press Run and wait for the deployment to complete (it may be a few minutes). Your dashboard will then be live at the provided ...repl.co URL.

 

Covalent API Endpoints

The two primary Covalent API endpoints used in this code template include:

  1. Detail view of a specific collection:

This endpoint allows one to drill down into the details of a collection and the response object looks like the following:

Data for the detail view is at a day granularity.

  1. Global view of Market Cap per blockchain:

This endpoint provides a global view of multiple NFT collections from various marketplaces (from multiple chains) in a table that ranks them on their market cap.
