This module should be deleted from the core installation.
ideal-checkout.nl wrote the module for it. It has been implemented in the TC installation, but has wrong files. so it doesn't work

for now it's best to remove it from the installation. people get confused why it's not working.

its best to keep the module separate from installtion, because it's not a core moduled

there are 2 ways to set your email settings.
occurs in 1.1.8.1 and 1.1.8.2

first one
start -> configuration -> configuration -> email options
see screenshot.
when you set your settings it shows your password NOT ENCRYPTED !!.

2nd way.
start ->configuration -> configuration wizard
take a look at the SMTP password. it is encrypted.

so at one screen (email options) the password is NOT ENCRYPTED and the other one is fine.

When a order is purchased there is no information in the Transaction History.

tested with the Core - Cash on delivery and with the extra module iDeal checkout.

Jack gave a solution on the forum which should fix the numbers in the SEF url. but it still has a number in it. so it works, but needs some finetuning.

It is quite annoying when you want to shop for multiple items and after every item added to your cart (buy now) it will redirect the page to the cart.

I would like to stay on the page where i am shopping. if i want to check the items that i will buy i wil go to the shopping cart myself.

In 1.1.8.1 the solution is visable. buy an item -> it is put in the cart. i stay on the same page and the shopping cart is visable on the right with the items in it

when you upload a language pack, the directory owner will be set to www-data. as far as i know this is the way it is supposed to be.

Problem:

added an image to a product with 2000 px resolution. The thumbnail is created perfectly.

if i open the site and click on the image my whole screen is filled. could this be done automaticly to be scaled? to a maximum?

at this point you can only give a special price to the whole product, but not to the variants itself. the discount counts for every variant in it.

Fresh install of tomato cart today. Newest version in Downloads area that IS NOT the alpha version. No addons/extensions have been added, no files have been modified.

I can not login to the admin panel with Chrome. When i click login it just loops over and over. When i switch to FireFox it works fine. This is not that big of a deal HOWEVER i have the same issue when registering on the frontend. After i put in the CAPTCHA it just loops over and over. I do it in FireFox, works first try.

The admin part i can deal with, people not being able to register i dont think will work. I am curious why FF, IE & Opera are the 3 supported browsers when Chrome is by far the fastest and safest, not to mention the most feature advanced in terms of HTML5, CSS3, etc..

Also after creating the account with Firefox, you cant even login with Chrome.

Also when you add items to the cart (this does work) then click Checkout, it does not work. Always says the cart is empty.

If this is a true issue with Chrome & Tomato, i guess i will have to use a different cart system.

Please download the modules_addshoppers_dialog.zip from the attachment. After decompressing it, you will see a file named modules_addshoppers.php. Please copy it into the following directory in the tomatocart on your web server:

admin/includes/extmodules/modules_addshoppers

it looked like this problem was solved. but still some people have this problem.i can reproduce this in 1.1.8.1 with a normal blanc installation.

This also occurs in the bootstrap template. maybe things are related.

if you add variants to a product. select a different image to each variant. but at the frontend the image isn't changing.

when a new variant is selected the price and image won't change when selected. but it will show up in the cart

it works in the 1.1.8.2 (image and price update)
but you have to clear all cache after changing the product with new variants.

This appairs to still be a problem. I can't reproduce it, but still some people have this problem.

Open the products screen. Edit a product. Go to the tab: Data.

try to change the data available: see screenshot for result. you can choose something, but that's about it.
in chrome the date screen is to wide.

solution:
this problem can be fixed by changing below:

file: /admin/external/extjs/resources/css/ext-all.css

change: table.x-date-inner{width:100%;table-layout:fixed;}

to : table.x-date-inner{width:200px !important;table-layout:fixed;}

in firefox en IE9 the date picker is OK. (see screenshot)

and after the change

If you put 1 or more items in the shopping cart you can click on the top link 1item(s). It will show a popup.

the only way to close it will be to click again on the 1item(s) link. it should close when you click just in the site.

in all browsers

In 1.1.8.1 and 2 the information box is located on the left. in the bootstrap its located in the bottom. It looks out of place.

input the 1.1.8.2 including the bootstrap in the w3c validator and you get quite some warnings
