Thank you for a very useful app!
I noticed that Keep is often causing significant CPU load, even when I'm not interacting with it. For example, Keep is now constantly using around 3% and Keep Helper 6% of the CPU. This reduces battery life of my MacBook significantly, so I can't afford to have Keep running all the time.
I would love for this app to be added to Homebrew Cask so it can be installed more easily.
Some context...
Homebrew-Cask extends Homebrew and brings its elegance, simplicity, and speed to the installation and management of GUI macOS applications such as Atom and Google Chrome.
We do this by providing a friendly Homebrew-style CLI workflow for the administration of macOS applications distributed as binaries.
Add account switching functionality.
I'd like to be able to set a keyboard shortcut to activate the app so I can type a quick note. Would be great if it could focus the new note box when it activates too.
Get this error : "Textured window <AtomNSWindow: 0x7f8161b1f2f0> is getting an implicitly transparent titlebar. This will break when linking against newer SDKs. Use NSWindow's -titlebarAppearsTransparent=YES instead." on an 2020 Intel Macbook running MacOs Monterey 12.0.1
Add a configuration option, and add the ability to hide the scrollbar.
The session is lost, and user is logged out when the app is restarted.
Hi there. I love the app! Exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted your thoughts on a feature I was thinking about. The ability to show a number of "to-do" tasks in the menu bar that is linked to a checklist (perhaps first pinned)
I can also help with development, but wasn't sure if google keep had an api to even make this possible.
Currently doesn't work.
Add window to allow configuration of settings.
Hi @tmcinerney , I'm not sure if you see this?
I wanted to let you know that on macOS Ventura and v1.2 of Keep (installed with "brew install --cask keep"), after I have logged in, the app window in the menu bar just goes black.
If I right-click the icon and do "Refresh", the same thing happens again โ I see the contents for a split second before the window goes dark.
I would LOVE to use the app, since I haven't found any other way to use Google Keep from the menu bar.
Any idea or advice about what to do?
Thanks!
