morphine's Issues

Wishlist: disabled ranges

I don't really care how productive I am from 10:00 PM to 9:30 AM. would be nice to be able to disable this regularly for that timespan.

Wishlist: "Soft" blocking

First of all, thanks for this great extension!

Quoting a user review on Web Store from 2 years ago:

When the timer runs out, the page is fully redirected rather than having an overlay like similar extensions. This can be really frustrating if you were, for example, typing up a comment as the comment will likely be erased and unrecoverable (even Lazarus sometimes doesn't have enough time to save it).

Another consequence of this hard redirection is that, if I have multiple blocked tabs open, my (admittedly not that great) computer immediately freezes for a few seconds since everything gets unblocked and reloaded at the same time (including the dozens of extensions and userscripts I have installed).

The third issue is that all blocked tabs are closed and can't be recovered if I disable the extension (and yes, I've needed to do that a few times, no cheating).

I understand that a simple overlay might make cheating easier, but simply disabling the extension is already pretty straightforward. It would be great at least having the option to switch between these two behaviors.

Thanks for your attention!

Wishlist: Blocked tabs "backup"

Hello!

Just reiterating what I said on #7,

tabs are closed and can't be recovered if I disable the extension (and yes, I've needed to do that a few times, no cheating).

I think it would be nice to be able to prevent this from happening somehow. Perhaps a simple "solution" (more of a workaround, actually) is to keep a list of blocked tabs on the local storage, even if they're not directly visible to the user (to not encourage "binging") but accessible from a "restore tabs" button or automatically restored when the extension is re-enabled. I'm not sure if the extension would be able to tell whether the tab was closed by the user or because the extension was disabled to update the list seamlessly, though.

What do you think?

Wishlist: manual balance cap

Thank you for the extension!

The only complain I've got is that it gives me too much time to procrastinate since it keeps adding minutes to my balance even when I'm away (and therefore not working).

Could you please add an option to manually set the maximum possible balance value? That would be simple yet sufficient solution.

Thanks in advance.

Increasing Balance via Button

So from how I understand the description, I should be able to incrase the balance by clicking on one of these buttons, however they dont appear to do anything.

I am using Google Chrome version 120.0.6099.199-1

Wishlist: Sync settings

I use several devices and often experiment with different settings, which results in me having to manually update everything on each device every time I change something. Sure, it's not that complicated, but I always forget to include some website and then suddenly it's 4 AM it would still be nice to have the option to synchronize everything (both manually and automatically). If you agree with this, I can submit a PR :)

Wishlist: pause meter

Right now once you "buy" 1/3/5/N minutes from your balance, the timer counts down and doesn't stop until it's all been used up.

I'd like to see a feature where if you change tabs to a non-blocklist website, the timer pauses. It resumes once you change back or go to another blocked website.

Otherwise, once you buy some minutes, you feel compelled -- or at least I do -- to hit all your blocklist websites and reading a non-blocklist website feels like you're "wasting" your minutes.

Just a thought. Really enjoying the extension.

Tegular Expression to block .com

i want to block all .com websites and want to access just the websites in the allowed websites list.

Butreg expression is not working
